Cuando íbamos a la playa cuando eramos unos enanos, nos pasábamos largo rato ida y vuelta a la toalla de mamá y papá para enseñarle las conchas que habíamos encontrado en la orilla… ahora encuentran trocitos de colores varios (plásticos) y alguna que otra concha. El plástico es obra nuestra, las conchas son obra del océano, así que de ahora en adelante dejémos en el mar lo que pertenece al mar y llevémonos con nosotros lo que hemos traído con nosotros. Hoy hay alrededor de 150 toneladas de plásticos en el mar y cada año vamos añadiendo 8 más; no es raro encontrar ya los estómagos de animales marinos llenos de plásticos o pájaros atrapados con ellos, de hecho ya en tierra, los animales se ven forzados a vivir rodeados de plásticos. Aportemos nuestro granito de arena reduciendo los deshechos de plástico o aún mejor, dejemos de consumirlo. Tratemos el planeta como si tuviéramos pensado quedarnos en él

When we were child and we went to the beach to look for shells, running to our parents showing then what we found in the shore… Now children find in the shore little color pieces of plastic and some other shell. Plastic is ours and shells from the ocean; lets leave in the see what owns to the sea and carry with us what we brought. Today there are 150 tones of plastic in the oceans. It is not weird to find animals with their bellies full of plastics or birds trapped or land animals surrounded by them. Let’s do our part reducing our plastic wastes or even better stop consuming it
